Brockton Indivisible is a local chapter of the nationwide Indivisible movement, dedicated to advancing a progressive, inclusive agenda and defending democracy. As our rights and Constitution have come under increasing assault from an authoritarian MAGA movement, we seek to hold elected officials accountable, and collaborate with partners in nation-wide events and peaceful, non-violent protests that resist right-wing extremism.

Brockton is one of the most racially and ethnically diverse cities in Massachusetts and has long been a premier immigrant gateway city. It became the first city in New England with a majority-black population in 2020. The current divisive political climate, and an administration following an extreme Project 2025 game plan at an alarmingly fast pace, makes this an all-hands-on-deck moment for Brockton Indivisibles – which includes members from surrounding towns – and all who want democracy and our alliances to endure, and the rule of law and the rights and dignity of all individuals to be respected.

Together, we fuel grassroots action to create meaningful change. We are Indivisible in this place.
